Ah darling baby Noah and his beautiful folks Lydia & John! This was such a sweet lifestyle newborn photography session. With both mum and dad being extremely musical, they frequent the Melbourne music scene & John plays guitar in a band – I felt right at home, in their home. Baby Noah was a bit of a miracle babe, there was so much love in their home and he is most loved by his ma & pa.

Newborn photography is one of my favorite sessions. I love my newborn sessions so so much – it is what got me started with Pixie Rouge. I used to photograph the baba’s in the maternity wards at St Vincent’s & Royal Women’s Hospital’s for 2 years, that was such a special job and it taught me so much about these beautiful delicate sessions. My mum was a midwife for 25 years, so I grew up with sweet babes. Nowadays, I much prefer spending quality time in my beautiful clients homes – doing a lifestyle newborn session. I spend up to 3 hours with you, in the warm love of your home and the newest member of your family, other children and fur babies should you have those too! ?Newborn sessions are truly so special, they only stay newborn for a very short time, to capture these moments – is something very humbling to be a part of, that’s for sure! This year Ill be adding a newborn studio in our new home we are building, for those mum’s and dad’s who prefer a studio shoot, you may be in between homes, or renovating – a studio is a fab option to be able to offer my clients and Im super excited to set that up again!
