Natural lifestyle newborn photography Melbourne, Werribee & Geelong

Natural / lifestyle newborn photography is kinda where its at for me. I began my journey as a photographer photographing newborn babies in Melbourne CBD maternity wards. For 2 years I got to cuddle almost as many babies weekly as a midwife might! (almost!) haha. My mother was a midwife in the town I grew up in in New Zealand – Oamaru. And I was more often than not; the ‘go to’ baby sitter of the town. I now live in Werribee so I can access Geelong beautifully too.

So it seemed only natural that I could marry two of my favourite things, photography + babies. Photographing newborns is a truly wonderful job, I am just besotted with babies, and now being a mum myself….my newborn sessions hold even more love & understanding.

I offer a rather unique experience. My newborn photography style is very natural and I hold them in my clients homes. My sessions are intricate, beautiful, personal and emotional. They are calm & quiet, there is love, patience and cuddles, oh so many cuddles. I bring my studio, lush fabrics I have spent years collecting, a selection of rustic, natural and boho newborn rompers, headbands and hats and I set up a small space most likely on mum and dads bed and I shoot away. Its such a beautiful time in a families life, and I feel so very lucky to be a small part.
